Appley Tower

A Victorian folly tower standing in Appley Park on the seafront east of Ryde. The tower was built in the mid-nineteenth century and stands in a wooded park with a sandy beach below. Appley Park is a popular spot for walks, picnics and family outings, with the beach offering good swimming and views across the Solent. The tower itself is a local landmark visible from the water.
